A variety of Gleditsia grown for its attractive foliage shape and colour; yellow-green as new growth and yellow in autumn.

Features: Foliage colour and delicate shape; new yellow-green shoots and yellow autumn colours. Hardy.
Applications: Streetscapes - avenues, islands and carparks. Shade tree. Parks, lawns and gardens.
Description Gleditsia are proven as hardy street and shade trees, being fast-growing, heat and drought tolerant and well-suited for the demands of urban environments. Trees grow with an open, spreading canopy and have attractive, fine, somewhat weeping foliage. The 'Sunburst' variety grows to a thornless tree, a versatile small to medium-size and is distinctive for its colour - bright yellow shoots turning later to yellow-green and yellow autumn colours. Suitable for lawn sites.
